Nicki Minaj Is Officially A Barbie + New Music From Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded

Looks like Nicki Minaj has finally become the Barbie that she feels like on the inside. According to reports, the Nicki Barbie will be available on Weds, Dec 7, and all proceeds go to Project Angel Food, an LA-based meal delivery for HIV/AIDS patients.

Sources report that the Nicki doll was made in her image and will include “every signature detail, right down to the tattoo on Nicki’s left arm.”

Mattel will make a one-of-a-kind Nicki Minaj Barbie doll available for auction at CharityBuzz.com, to be showcased at Divine Design’s five-day event and gala at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. Bids will be received through Dec. 19 and will start at $1,000. Previous celebrities who’ve had a one-of-a-kind Barbie auctioned off at the event include Carol Channing, Rachel Zoe and Janet Jackson. All proceeds will benefit Project Angel Food, which provides food for men, woman and children affected by HIV and AIDS.

“Barbie is obviously a pop culture icon. She’s been in the spotlight for over 50 years, and strikes that chord with girls of all ages in terms of being representative of the times. And Nicki is a big part of pop culture and also huge within the fashion industry, as well as a big Barbie fan,” says Stefani Yocky, a Barbie spokeswoman. “It’s really exciting for us that she’s been so generous to allow us to create this one-of-a-kind doll to support such an important cause.”

They did a great job with the doll, looks like a mini Minaj to me. What do you think?

Fresh off her Barbie news, Nicki has released a track called “Roman In Moscow” which features her alter-ego Roman Zolanski.  The track will appear on her next album dropping Valentine’s Day 2012. She tweeted, Boom! Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded in just 73 days?!?!
